Events & show tickets

Nobody should pay full sticker for entertainment. Venues release unsold seats through discount channels every day — here's where they go.

Goldstar

Visit

The deal: Discounted tickets for theater, sports, concerts, and tours — often 30–50% off.

Use it well: Browse by date for your city; inventory refreshes as venues release unsold seats closer to showtime.

Watch out: Service fees apply, and popular shows sell through the discounted allotment early.

TodayTix

Visit

The deal: Last-minute theater tickets plus lotteries and rush seats in major theater cities.

Use it well: Enter lotteries early in the day; check rush inventory after 10am for same-evening shows.

Watch out: Strongest in NYC, London, and Chicago — much thinner elsewhere.

TickPick

Visit

The deal: Secondary-market tickets with no service fees — the price you see is the price you pay.

Use it well: Compare the all-in price against other resale sites' all-in views; TickPick usually wins once fees are included.

Watch out: Prices float with demand — buy early for hot events, wait out the slow ones.

How to stack it

  • Compare discount sites against the venue box office — sometimes the box office wins, especially with fees.
  • Pay with a card earning 3x+ on entertainment.
  • For sports, check the team's own resale exchange too; fees and inventory differ.
